The Behbahan Cement Factory Development Project comprised the construction of the foundations and structural steel framework for the Kiln Feed and Bag Filter facilities as part of the plant expansion program. The project was executed within a highly constrained schedule during the planned suspension of factory operations, requiring precise planning and efficient coordination to minimize downtime.
The scope of work included the execution of reinforced concrete foundations and structural steel works supporting the new production facilities. Construction activities comprised 600 m³ of concrete works, 150 tons of reinforcement, and 250 tons of structural steel, providing the structural infrastructure required for a production capacity of 2,500 tons per day.
Executed by Omran Maroon Engineers Co. as the Contractor, the project was successfully completed in accordance with engineering standards, technical specifications, and contractual requirements within the 4.5-month construction period, ensuring the timely completion of the expansion works during the factory shutdown.
