Economic Benefits

Firouzkouh Cement Factory is located approximately 10 km along the Firouzkouh–Ghaemshahr Road, in Katalan Village, Iran.

The objective of this project is to increase the cement production capacity.

Based on its extensive experience in slip-form construction, Omran Maroon Engineers Co. successfully executed the Firouzkouh Cement Silos with high quality and construction tolerances significantly lower than the limits specified in the National Regulations and the American Concrete Institute (ACI) standards for the design and construction of concrete silos.

About This Project

The Firouzkouh Cement Factory Project involved the construction of industrial structures required for the expansion of cement production capacity. The project included the execution of major concrete and structural works, with a particular focus on the construction of cement silos using advanced slip-form construction techniques.

The scope of work comprised large-scale reinforced concrete activities, including the construction of cement silos and associated industrial structures. The project execution included 70,000 m³ of concrete works, 4,400 tons of reinforcement, 125,000 m² of formwork, and 310 tons of steel works, supporting a production capacity of 3,300 tons per day.

Utilizing its extensive experience in slip-form construction, Omran Maroon Engineers Co. successfully executed the cement silo structures with high construction quality and dimensional accuracy, achieving tolerances significantly lower than the limits defined by the National Regulations and American Concrete Institute (ACI) standards for the design and construction of concrete silos.

Executed by Omran Maroon Engineers Co. as the Contractor, the project was completed in accordance with technical specifications and contractual requirements during the 18-month construction period, contributing to the development and expansion of cement production infrastructure.

Employment

The execution of the Firouzkouh Cement Factory Project engaged multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and construction teams throughout the project implementation. The construction of large-scale concrete structures, particularly the cement silos using slip-form construction technology, required the coordinated efforts of skilled specialists in industrial construction, reinforced concrete works, formwork systems, structural engineering, and site operations.

The implementation of high-precision concrete structures under strict dimensional control requirements required experienced technical personnel capable of managing complex construction processes and achieving the specified quality standards.

As the Contractor, Omran Maroon Engineers Co. organized and coordinated the project workforce, ensuring effective execution of construction activities and compliance with technical specifications and contractual requirements throughout the 18-month construction period.
