Abyek Cement Factory is located at km 80 of the Tehran–Qazvin Highway.
This project consists of the execution of the development structures for the second production line of the Abyek Cement Factory as a separate section from the existing facilities.
The main structures of the project include the Material Mill, Pre-Heater Structure and related buildings, Cooling Tower, ID Fan, Cooler, Furnace and its Platform, Third Air Pipe, Material Transfer Gallery between the Material Mill Feed, the Material Mill, and the Kiln Feed, Clinker Transfer Tunnel, Steel Structure between the Pre-Heater and Raw Material Silos, Power Substations, Installation Canals, and other associated facilities.
The Abyek Cement Factory Expansion Project comprised the construction of the principal industrial and structural facilities required for the second production line of the cement plant. The project was executed as an independent development phase, including the construction of major process buildings, steel structures, utility facilities, and supporting infrastructure in accordance with industrial construction standards.
The scope of work included the construction of the Material Mill, Pre-Heater Structure, Cooling Tower, ID Fan Building, Cooler, Kiln and Kiln Platform, Third Air Pipe, Material Transfer Gallery, Clinker Transfer Tunnel, steel structures connecting the Pre-Heater to the Raw Material Silos, electrical substations, installation canals, and other associated industrial facilities. Construction activities also comprised 50,000 m³ of reinforced concrete works, 6,000 tons of reinforcement, 120,000 m² of formwork, and 2,000 tons of structural steel erection, supporting a production capacity of 125,000 tons per day.
Executed by Omran Maroon Engineers Co. as the Contractor, the project was completed in accordance with engineering standards and contractual specifications during the 20-month construction period, delivering the structural infrastructure required for the expansion of the cement production facilities.
The execution of the Abyek Cement Factory Expansion Project engaged multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and construction teams throughout the project implementation. The construction of industrial process buildings, reinforced concrete structures, structural steel frameworks, transfer galleries, tunnels, substations, and utility facilities required the coordinated efforts of specialists in industrial construction, structural engineering, civil works, and mechanical installation.
As the Contractor, Omran Maroon Engineers Co. managed and coordinated all major construction activities, ensuring efficient workforce organization and the successful delivery of the project in accordance with technical specifications and contractual requirements throughout the 20-month construction period.
Omran Maroon Engineers Co. manages the procurement and supply of construction materials, equipment, and site resources through an integrated supply chain management system. Procurement activities are carried out in accordance with project schedules, technical specifications, and quality requirements, ensuring the timely availability of materials and equipment while supporting efficient project execution.
