About This Project

The Warehouse Facilities Rehabilitation Project comprised the comprehensive rehabilitation of the structural, mechanical, and electrical systems of warehouse facilities located within the Shahid Rajaee Port Special Economic Zone. The project was undertaken to restore and upgrade the operational performance, structural integrity, and serviceability of the existing facilities, ensuring their continued support for port logistics and cargo handling operations.

The rehabilitation works covered a total built-up area of 87,000 m² and included structural strengthening, repair and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems, steel rehabilitation works, protective surface treatment, and specialized repair operations. The project involved the execution of 200 tons of reinforcement, 250 tons of light and heavy structural steel works, 420,000 m² of protective painting, and 70,000 dm³ of epoxy grouting, extending the operational life and reliability of the warehouse infrastructure.

Executed by Omran Maroon Engineers Co. as the Contractor, the project was completed in accordance with engineering standards, rehabilitation specifications, and contractual requirements throughout the 36-month contract period, delivering upgraded warehouse facilities capable of supporting the long-term operational requirements of one of Iran’s largest commercial ports.
